Where does the information come from?

This website is built by Clëntenbelang Amsterdam. The information about the buildings in majority is the result of research by trained volunteers and students. The information about each building is subdivided in the following categories:

  • Public transport
  • Parking
  • The entrance
  • The horizontal and vertical access
  • Sanitary facilities
  • Facilities for the blind and visually impaired.
  • Facilities for the deaf and hearing impaired.
  • Smoke free and partially smoke free.

For each category the data are compared with a valuation of accessibility. On this basis each category of each building did receive a valuation: 1, 2, 3 or 4 stripes. De facilities for the deaf and blind and smoke free/partially smoke free did receive a valuation of 4 stripes (yes) or 1 stripe (no).
